• The "easiest" way is to take the NYS Thruway, I90, to Exit 42, State Hwy 14. Then take Hwy 14 northbound through the town of Lyons, over the Erie Canal, make a short dog-leg at Ridge Rd and on up to Sodus Point. Turn right on Lummis, right on Greig, and right on Irwin, at the end is SBYC. This route will take you past the local marinas in Sodus Point.

Moorings

• Moorings, docks, and rafting will be available at NO charge at SBYC. We will be rafting off of the main docks at SBYC and there will most likely be moorings available but not a bum boat so bring a dinghy.
• Check with the marinas for open docks or slips.

Launching, Marine Chandlery

• Launching: the folks at Sodus are working out the details and hope to have free or very reduced rates, we will have details late January /early Feb.

Setup - Rig Measurements

Rake/Headstay length was taken from halyard hoisted (w/ attached tape) to the top of the boom fitting (square pivot fitting) [gooseneck] or at the upper edge of the black band, for all boats the deck to "black band" was 3'5". The halyard was then swung out to the headstay (which is is tensioned). Measurement was taken from the halyard down to the Stainless Steel bow fitting intersection of the bow and deck plates.

Shroud Tension: Measured with Loos Tension Gauge, Model RT-10, numbers in brackets are from the needle position on the gauge. Lowers and Uppers are 0.198" dia, and Intermediates are 0.172"
